Christchurch-based Shared and Reseller web-hosting provider, Liquid Farm Hosting, announced that starting today, all shared and reseller web-hosting servers, have been upgraded to 100MB uplink ports, and only outbound traffic will be metered thanks to a major overhaul at our datacentre.

Starting a few months ago, our server provider chose to lead the industry by offering free 100Mbps uplink ports to all clients at no cost, that is exactly 10 times more capacity than the industry average of 10Mbps; this increased capacity benefits clients by providing a larger pipe to push their traffic through. This translates into less latency, faster download times for files, movies, streaming video and audio, particularly during times of unexpected peak demand.
