ENVIRONMENT:
Our Client a growing IT Technology company seeks a PHP Developer to join the Social networking team in software development by designing, developing, documenting and testing software material.

DUTIES:
1. Develop applications using full project life cycle.
2. Document and test new systems to ensure error free code.
3. Observe, compare and monitor data to diagnose problems.
4. Diagnose technical problems and recommend solutions.
5. Plan, research, develop logic, code, test and deploy several projects while working in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. 2-3 years working PHP Development experience.
2. Well versed in developing in a LAMP environment.
3. An IT/Business related qualification.
4. Has built a project from scratch on their own.
5. Has developed a range of sites.6. Good understanding of web hosting in a Linux environment and experience setting it up.
7. Knowledge and understanding of Agile methodologies would be an advantage.

SKILLS:
1. Knowledge of platform/languages like Ruby.
2. Understands Web 2.0.
3. Knowledge of Community site/social software.
4. Passionate about AJAX.
5. Database programming skills.
6. Must have a passion for optimal systems and simple procedures.
7. Ability to convince others of right course action and to explain a point of view convincingly.
8. Good interpersonal skills, verbal communication skills and able to communicate clearly.
9. Ability to write clear and concise documents.
10. Excellent logical analysis and problem solving skills.
11. Ability to Self Manage and deliver.
